About Jason Baynham
Jason Baynham is secretary of the board and holds a Richland County seat. He owns a landscaping company, has lived in Irmo for about a dozen years and has three children in district schools, and he has been involved with the district’s special education program. A first-time candidate, he won the Richland County seat in November 2024. His stated priorities include teacher recruitment and retention, student discipline, fiscal responsibility, expanding the FIVE Virtual program and school security.
