Irmo Public Works

The Town’s Public Services crew keeps Irmo running: parks and medians, Town buildings, sidewalks, street signs, drainage and weekly trash pickup. They’re also the people setting up (and cleaning up) every Okra Strut, tree lighting and concert.

Tree City USA

A greener Irmo, every year since 2009

Irmo earned its first Tree City USA designation in 2009 and has kept it every year since. Much of the shade you see along Woodrow Street and in our parks was planted by this crew under longtime Public Services Director Whitt Cline.
